HOW IS CELEBRATING EASTER IN THE WORLD?
Easter is one of the most beautiful and most important Christian holidays. It is the day when Christians around the world celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ, together in a beautiful atmosphere rejoice. But despite the religious rituals and customs that make this day, each country has its own, unique way to celebrate. The following countries have one of the most unique celebrations.

SCOTLAND
Easter is a very laid-back holiday in Scotland. Although the Scots as believers respect the religious practices such as going to Mass, but this day they make funny. And everything revolves around the Easter eggs. Once they boiled, painted and decorated eggs with various decorations, each with its egg referred to the green hills rolling. While this custom is popular in rural areas where houses have large gardens in urban parts of Germany people go on an Easter walk in nature and hide Easter nests filled with real and chocolate eggs somewhere among the trees and bushes so that kids can have fun while they are seeking the egg

CANADA
Celebrations in Canada include festivals, delicious food and lots of fun. The religious and non-religious Canadians take part in religious practices acting performances, singing Easter and all other activities, including going to Mass. The rich menu is diverse and desire, but what they have at each table are cakes with apples and baked beans. A big attraction is the big Easter egg constructed in 1975 in honor of the Ukrainian settlements in Edmonton. This is the largest Easter egg which exists in the world and as such is an architectural masterpiece that is a symbol of life, prosperity, eternity and good fortune.

USA
Mass is always the first place. Easter is the holiday when all Christians in America dress in the best clothes and go to church on Easter Mass. Then come cakes and chocolate. Some companies producing chocolate specially produced for Easter chocolates that can be on sale only this time. What deserves particular attention to those who live in Washington is the fact that only for Easter, the doors of the gardens of the White House open to children and their game that consists of rolling eggs. This is a tradition that dates back to 1878.

LAPLAND
Singing and dancing in the snow, People are making snowmen and they are celebrating Jesus resurrection and awakening of nature.

RUSSIA
Apart from traditional foods with this holiday is connected the custom with greetings with triple kissing in the cheek.

CZECH REPUBLIC
Dying eggs and whipping girls …? Czech Republic can certainly be considered to have among the most extraordinary Easter traditions in the world. Czechs call Easter Monday “Whipping Monday” because that day is a tradition of boys slightly to “beat” the girls with a woven willow branch. This custom is believed branches will give those who are hit long and youth welfare. To show their gratitude, the girls give boys an Easter egg.

POLYNESIA
On Holy Saturday matched shells believed to be related to marine spirits. After the ritual they returned to the sea where resurrected new life.

OTHER COUNTRIES
In MEXICO on the streets are placing paper characters of Judas Iskariot in which is placed fireworks. In BULGARIA and ROMANIA, on United Saturday housewives put salt, flour, yeast and eggs at the windows, and with those ingredients on Easter Monday they bake bread who they eat for breakfast to be a fruitful year. The LAMPEDRUSA, a small Italian island have one of the most beautiful rituals – namely on Easter they forget all misunderstandings and arguments. In SPAIN there are floating rafts decorated with figures representing characters from the biblical story of Christ’s resurrection.
