OBSERVE THE YELLOW – GREEN COLOR ON THE BOILED EGGS
Have you wondered why, very often under the shell of the Easter eggs you can see yellow-green dye? It can be seen not only on the Easter eggs, you can see that on every eggs that are long boiled. The appearance of yellow – green color due to chemical reaction between the hydrogen sulfide who is the product of decomposition on the proteins with iron cell. This eggs are not recommended for eating.
The egg is able to protect itself of outside bacteria. First, the surface of the egg shell has a thin antibacterial coating that is a very thin layer of mucus and bacteria penetrate inside the egg. That is because the eggs intended for long – term using aren’t recommended to be washed, you can only wipe with dry cloth. The shell is strong enough and doesn’t allow bacteria to get in. In the shell there is a thin film which also doesn’t allow bacteria to get in.
Remember that the period of storage of eggs in the refrigerator is about 30 days, while at room temperature, no more than 12 days. The white of the egg you can safety freeze and thawing, and it doesn’t lose its properties.
